Lea A. Nadler, P.E. is a civil engineer and biologist with over twenty-five years of professional experience. She earned her B.A. in Biology from Susquehanna University in 1986, a graduate certificate in Project Management from the Pennsylvania State University in 1992, and the degree of Master of Environmental Pollution Control from the Pennsylvania State University in 2006. She maintains professional licensure in Pennsylvania, and holds certifications in erosion and sediment pollution control and in stormwater quality.
Ms. Nadler's experience in both engineering and environmental services drives the firm’s integrated design approach on public and private projects. Her work throughout the United States, from New Mexico to Massachusetts, has involved highway, bridge, transit, utility, defense, planning, and site development projects. Her primary areas of technical expertise are hydrologic and hydraulic analysis; erosion and sediment pollution control; stormwater management; water quality studies; natural resource inventories and management plans; terrestrial and aquatic habitat evaluation and replacement; environmental impact statements; permit applications; and public and agency involvement programs.
Ms. Nadler is active in ACEC/PA's Government Affairs and Business Practices committees, and she is the chair of the Transportation Committee's DBE Subcommittee. She maintains professional licensure in Pennsylvania, and holds certifications in erosion and sediment pollution control and in stormwater quality.
Marc G. Pinto – Vice President
Mr. Pinto has over twenty years of experience in industrial and professional management. He earned his B.S. in Commerce and Engineering Sciences with a concentration in Operations Management and Marketing from Drexel University in 1990, followed by an M.B.A. from the University of South Carolina in 1994. He received his Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in 2007. In addition to his duties as vice president, Mr. Pinto has served as project manager on engineering contracts for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority, and municipal and private sector clients. He is active in the ACEC/PA Eastern Chapter and the Business Practices Committee.
Riad Diab, P.E., Ph.D.
Dr. Diab serves as our geotechnical lead and is responsible for the management, coordination, and design of all geotechnical activities. He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the School of Public Works in France, and took his master’s and Ph.D. degrees in geotechnical engineering from the University of Montreal. He has published several technical and research papers in the Canadian Geotechnical Journal and, more recently, the ASTM Geotechnical Testing journal. He has over 17 years of experience on projects in Europe and North America. His specific areas of expertise are earth retaining structures and foundation design. Dr. Diab maintains professional licensure in Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Quebec.
Robert Yanosky, P.E.
Mr. Yanosky is our lead transportation engineer, responsible for management, coordination, and design services for transportation works. In 1998 he earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering technology from the ABET-accredited program at the University of Pittsburgh. He is currently completing the requirements for the degree of Master of Science in Transportation Engineering at Villanova University. His breadth and depth of professional experience allow Susquehanna Civil to offer an array of transportation-related services including highway design, traffic studies, signal design, signing and pavement marking, sign lighting, ITS studies and design, pavement design, highway occupancy permits, utility coordination, and water resources. He maintains professional licensure in Pennsylvania.
Brian Taylor, P.L.S.
Mr. Taylor is our Chief of Surveys, and is responsible for the coordination and execution of all survey work as well as the production and quality assurance of all base mapping and right of way plans. He has over 25 years of land surveying experience for public and private clients in several states. Mr. Taylor earned his B.A. from Heidelberg College in Ohio and his Certificate in Surveying Technology from the County College of Morris in New Jersey. His experience and expertise ranges from transit and chain work to modern high-definition laser scanning methods for both site and linear projects. His dedication to his profession extends to the volunteering of his services in re-establishing the Sussex County, NJ portion of the East-West Jersey province line and the York County, PA portion of the Mason-Dixon Line, both of which were originally surveyed in the 1700s. He is an active member of the Pennsylvania Society of Land Surveyors' South Central Chapter, and is the recipient of the PSLS's 2012 Distinguished Service Award. Mr. Taylor maintains professional licensure in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
